We’re always looking for practical ways to reduce our impact on the planet and make sustainability part of everyday life in our business. We know our work has an environmental footprint, so we focus on running things responsibly and making improvements wherever we can.
In 2012, we installed solar panels on our site, allowing us to generate our own renewable energy. This long‑term investment has helped us cut our carbon footprint and reduce our reliance on traditional power sources.
We are committed to finding innovative ways to operate more efficiently, reduce carbon emissions, collaborate with suppliers on sustainable practices, and protect the environment through continuous improvement.

As part of our commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment, we are proud to partner with Project Seagrass.
Founded in 2013 by seagrass scientists, Project Seagrass is the world’s leading seagrass conservation organisation, dedicated to securing a future for seagrass. They do this by creating, empowering, and collaborating with communities; by leading, championing and communicating scientific research; and taking direct action to map, conserve, and restore seagrass meadows globally. Project Seagrass seek to reach a world in which seagrass meadows are thriving, abundant, and well managed for people and planet.
Seagrass is a flowering plant that grows in shallow coastal waters, creating underwater meadows that provide shelter for marine life, support fisheries, improve water quality, stabilise coastlines, and capture significant amounts of carbon. In short, they’re vital to keeping our seas healthy, thriving and great for the environment. Seagrass grows all over the world including on Dale beach (as pictured) in Pembrokeshire!
Through our partnership and funding, Project Seagrass is able to deliver educational talks in local schools, helping young people learn about the importance of seagrass meadows and the vital role they play in supporting marine life, improving water quality, and capturing carbon. By inspiring the next generation to understand how they can make a difference, we are helping to support the restoration of these valuable coastal habitats and encourage positive environmental action within our local communities.
